We seeks to hire a full time Program Coordinator to work in cooperation with the Program Manager to support the implementation of specific activities outlined in the REYN strategy.

The new Program Coordinator is expected to work in the premises of the International Step by Step Association (ISSA) in Leiden, the Netherlands.

The Position

The Program Coordinator will assist the Program Manager on advocacy and programmatic aspects of key initiatives linked with REYN, as well as on strengthening the network and its 11 National Networks.

We are hiring a full time Program Manager to serve as coordinator of the Romani Early Years Network (REYN).

The new Program Manager is expected to work in the premises of the International Step by Step Association (ISSA) in Leiden, the Netherlands.

ISSA is hiring a Senior Program Manager

The International Step by Step Association (ISSA), is seeking a Senior Program Manager based at its office in the Child Rights Home in Leiden, the Netherlands. This is a full-time position. The Senior Program Manager holds management responsibilities and reports to the Program Director.

In close cooperation with the Program Director, the Senior Program Manager coordinates the development and implementation of ISSA’s programs. S/he supervises implementation of various programmatic activities and ensures high quality performance of the organization.

The Early Childhood Workforce Initiative seeks consultant

Are you an early childhood consultant with experience in tool development? If yes, apply soon! The deadline for sending applications is 14 September 2018.

The Early Childhood Workforce Initiative (ECWI) is currently developing a needs assessment tool to support policymakers responsible for the policy planning and personnel management of Early Childhood Development (ECD) programs.

This unique tool aims to help countries at the start of their home visiting journey, as well as those scaling-up programs, assess the needs of personnel delivering services for children aged 0-3 across sectors. The main objectives of this tool are to help policymakers at national or sub-national levels:

  • Understand workforce demographics, along with pay experiences, training levels, qualifications, etc.;
  • Systematize issues and gaps in the current system related to the support for the workforce; and
  • Prioritize areas of focus for supporting and strengthening the workforce taking into consideration cost, feasibility, and potential for impact.

The role?

The chosen consultant will work in collaboration with the R4D team and be responsible for advancing a conceptual framework for the tool, preparing an initial design for the tool, and developing a guidance note for pilot countries. This role could extend to participation in the first pilot of the tool.

The selected applicant will be hired for a total of 25 days between September 2018 and January 2019.
