REYN promotes universal early childhood and care provision with additional services for those in need of additional support. Alarmingly, Romani and Traveller children are denied the right to quality early childhood education and care. This can be changed, read our strategy.
This is what we can achieve:
- Strengthened competences of early childhood development (ECD) professionals working with Romani and Traveller children, especially of those with Romani and Traveller background.
- Increased and valued diversity in practice and in the workforce by leveraging EU funds and policies, and by developing strategies to attract more Romani and Travellers in the ECD workforce at the national level.
- Ensured quality ECD and services for all children across Europe by attracting attention on pro-inclusion policies for Romani and Traveller children.
